Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month?
According to the World Health Organization, depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide, and women are twice as likely to be affected as men.
It’s easy to get caught up in the demands of work, family, and friends. Because of that, you pour so much into others that you may not even realize that you’re neglecting your own mental health. While it’s admirable to help and support others, neglecting your own needs can lead to exhaustion and burnout.
It’s not uncommon for women to ignore the signs of struggling with mental health and stress because they believe they don’t have time to prioritize it. Many women tend to push through their symptoms rather than address them, which can exacerbate their mental health problems.
This month, I am challenging you to Make Time For Mental Health.
Over the course of May, I will be sharing resources and tools, and I will even be hosting a free virtual event on May 31st where I will share easy-to-implement stress management strategies and answer your questions about how to make time for your mental health to prevent burnout and improve your overall wellbeing.

If you answered Yes to any of these questions, chances are you need to create a strategy to Make Time for Your Mental Health.
